Luke Maggard,

Pastor

Hi!  I am Luke Maggard.  It is my honor to serve as the Lead Pastor at Linden Free Methodist Church.  I have been married to my wife Kaitie since 2013, and we have five crazy kids, Darren, Edie, Austin, Oliver, and Hazel.

I have been serving in the local church since 2013 in several different capacities.  In 2016, I started serving in the Free Methodist Church as a Children's Pastor at the now Arbor Church.  In 2019, I moved into a lead pastor role at the Columbus Free Methodist Church in Columbus, Indiana.  In the summer of 2026, I started serving the Linden Free Methodist Church.

I am a person who believes in the local church, not a building, but a body of people who do life together and serve their community.  It is my honor to serve it and help it be the best it can be to help people experience the transforming love of Jesus in

their lives.

There are two key Scripture passages that I have clung to in my life for a number of years and those are Romans 10:15b "How beautiful are the feet of those that share the good news of the gospel" and Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this that he who began a good work in you will carry it to completion in the day of Christ Jesus."

For fun, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing disc golf, watching sports (go Tigers!), reading, or fishing.

If I haven't met you yet, I hope

to meet you soon!

Blessings,

Luke

Mike Anderson, Associate Pastor

Pastor Mike Anderson received his calling into pastoral ministry while an attendee of LFM Church. He and his wife, Cindy, have been ministering in this congregation for over 25 years. Pastor Mike currently serves as a bi-vocational Associate Pastor and strives to make sure that everyone who walks through these doors feels welcome. He wants all people to have an inviting and positive experience and to know that they belong here. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his three grown children and many cherished grandchildren.

My favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 30:15 "In quietness and trust lies your strength," which is my reminder to let go and let God in His perfect timing.  I was raised in Oakland County, attending Oxford United Methodist Church, and graduated from both Ferris State and Bellarmine University.  The beats of my heart are my three children and three grands who reside out of state.  My son-in-law is career special forces, my daughter a nurse, one son a mechanic, and one son a project manager.  My peace is found in the Bible, the garden, or at the lake.  I am thankful for all good things - the welcoming LFM Church, shared laughter, the smell of freshly cut hay, time with family, travel, art, music, learning new things, making new friends, and time with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Macrae.

Student Ministries Director

The Linden/Fenton community has always been a part of my life. My parents grew up in Linden and are high school sweethearts. I have been an attendee of LFM Church since 1983. I was a graduate of Fenton High School in 1998 and now FAPS is where my 3 children attend. Speaking of family, I have a husband named Tim, a 17 year old daughter Lillian and two sons.  Carter is 15 and Landon is 10. I have lots of experience with kids, and not just because I have three of my own. I have been coaching and teaching children (ages 3 and up) dance for 20 years. In addition to dance, I have worked in the church nursery, taught Sunday school, helped with VBS, and I even worked at Covenant Hills Camp one summer as a camp counselor. God is so good and I can’t wait to see the great things he will do in our kids

and church families.
In my spare time, I like to craft, sing, garden, visit social media, and read devotions! I also really like hanging out with my family, especially going out to the movie theater!! What a treat!!
I can not wait to get to know all of you as we dive deeper into a relationship with Christ!
